Welcome to Silicon Valley Cardiology

Physician referral is not necessary, unless you are in an HMO managed care plan not affiliated with the Palo Alto Medical Clinic. We are Medicare providers and on all of the contracts of Sutter Health, Palo Alto Medical Foundation.  If your primary care physician wants you to just have a test in our office, with their request we will do this and one of our physicians will explain the results to you at the time of the test. You will not have to wait to find out the results. Please note that we are open during lunch hours.

If you require hospitalization, our procedures are done primarily at Sequoia Hospital in Redwood City. We also provide care at Peninsula Hospital in Burlingame and El Camino Hospital in Mountain View for selected procedures. While we work very closely with our physician assistants in the hospital and our nurses in the office, you will always be seen by one of the physicians at the time of your visit in our office or when in the hospital. We also employ medical scribes in the office, who work with some of our physicians to capture the details of your visit and allow us to focus on you, not the computer. The physicians of Silicon Valley Cardiology cover for each other, so that if you have an urgent need and your regular physician is not available, we will do our best to see you as soon as possible.

If you will be a new patient to our practice, please download the patient history form as well as the patient information form listed below, and fax them both back to our office at (650) 327-2947.

Insurance & Payment

We accept all major credit cards at the time of your visit for co-pays.

Palo Alto Medical Foundation will bill your insurance directly, and we will arrange pre-authorizations as needed. Having your insurance information prior to your visit will ensure that this process will go smoothly for you.

Should you have any questions regarding your statement, please call (866) 672-0662 for assistance.

Our 4 physician assistants help us provide you with personal, unhurried care should you require hospitalization by the physicians of Silicon Valley Cardiology. They are an integral part of our team, and will be ready to assist in any way possible.
