Edward T. Anderson
Raised in Philadelphia, Eddie attended the University of Pennsylvania where he was the point guard on the basketball team before graduating with his BA in 1965. He attended the U of Penn Medical School and graduated in 1969, then came to Stanford where he did his internship, residency and cardiology fellowship.
Eddie began private practice at Sequoia Hospital in Redwood City upon finishing his fellowship, and has focused on coronary interventional work over the last 25 years. Having been good friends with Roger Winkle from his time at Stanford, Eddie joined Silicon Valley Cardiology shortly after its inception. He has served on the Board of Trustees at The University of Pennsylvania for many years. Eddie and his wife have lived in Palo Alto since coming to Stanford, where they raised their two daughters.
