Chad Brodt
Chad grew up in Columbus, Indiana, and attended Indiana University, receiving a BS in Biochemistry and an MS in Cellular and Integrative Physiology. With a strong desire to explore the world and gain experience beyond the cornfields of the Midwest, he accepted a Merit Scholarship to attend the University of Sydney in Australia for Medical School. It was there that he met his future wife, the incomparable, Jessica. They were married along the coast near the Great Barrier Reef and 4 days later were traveling across the USA interviewing for Residency positions. The allure of open water and good weather landed them in Miami, Florida. They had their first daughter while both in their third month of internship. While Jessica was finishing her Anesthesia training, Chad continued at Miami for General Cardiology training. Two more daughters were born during that period. After finishing Cardiology training, they moved to Palo Alto, where Jessica took a faculty position as a Cardiac Anesthesiologist and Chad began Cardiac Electrophysiology training at Stanford University. During Electrophysiology training, Chad and Jessica managed to have a fourth daughter. After completing his electrophysiology training, Chad continued on as a faculty attending with the electrophysiology group at Stanford. He was on faculty from 2016 until 2020, and maintained a busy practice with a focus on advanced treatments for atrial fibrillation. He was involved in multiple clinical trials related to cardiac devices and advanced therapeutic strategies and after developing the program for hybrid ablation at Stanford, he brought this expertise to Silicon Valley Cardiology. He joined the group in 2020 with an enthusiasm to continue to expand on the practice of complex arrhythmia management.
