Gregory Engel
Greg was raised in Southern California, and traveled across the country for his undergraduate education at Harvard (phi beta kappa, magna cum laude in Biochemical Sciences). He came to the SF Bay area to attend Stanford Medical School and remained at Stanford to complete his internship, residency, fellowships in cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology and an MS degree in epidemiology. He was chief resident in internal medicine and chief fellow in cardiology. He joined Silicon Valley Cardiology in 2006. In addition to his training and board certifications in cardiology and electrophysiology, he is board certified in cardiac nuclear imaging. While he covers all aspects of cardiology, ablations and implantation of cardiac devices remain his primary focus. Greg enjoys golf and tennis; he resides with his wife in Menlo Park where they have raised their two sons.
